The advantages are:
- It costs virtually nothing to send
- You can attatch any files such as videos, pictures, music, etc.
- You can send it at any time of the day to anyone with an email address
- Emails can be sent to dozens or even thousands of people at once
- It takes a matter of second to reach to the address you send it to
The disadvantages are:
- Sending emails arn't always secure and can be hacked
- The person you send it to had to login to read the email and might not for a long peroid of time
- Getting an email from an unknown sender with an attachment may be a virus
- Emails can be impersonal
Cc stands for carbon copy. This means the address sent using 'cc:' would recieve a copy of the email. Bbc stands for blind carbon copy. It is similar to Cc expect that the addresses specified in this field do not appear in the received message header and the addresses in the To or Cc ont know a copy was sent to these addresses.
